The SupMed project continues its operational implementation with the organization of a training on good agricultural practices dedicated to the organic olive growers in the Hermel region. This training takes place in parallel to the distribution of organic fertilizer to olive growers in the area. This support was provided to the farmers associated to the SupMed project and engaged in the SupMed Charter. The objectives of this training are: 1. Show the importance of promoting the cultivation of organic olive production; 2. Discuss the implementation of good agricultural practices toward the conversion to organic farming; 3. Discuss the importance in using organic fertilizer by taking into account biophysical and socioeconomic context.
