After a first year dedicated to the identification of actors to be involved and adaptation strategies to be implemented: SupMed project is starting its operational phase in 2022
|
The Last few months have been focused on the implementation of collectives investments for farmers: a composting unit for agricultural waste in Egypte and a softwood cutting nursery in Lebanon. The past year has allowed us to identify the adaptation practises to be developed by typical farmers and to collectively design the contents of the good pratices charter that will be signed by the farmers involved in the project. These documents specify the actions to be carried out and the support provided. In return, farmers commit to respecting the principles of SupMed initiative.

SupMed was also present at the COP27 meeting, an entire plenary session were dedicated to the presentation of the first SupMed results.
